Two People Rescued from the Sydney Harbour Bridge

One lane of the Sydney Harbour Bridge was closed for one hour after a British man and a young lady fainted whilst doing the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb.

Ambulance crews attended the scene around 11am on Sunday 6th November.

A spokeswoman for the NSW Ambulance Service said that a man from the UK which was  in his late 60s and a woman in her early 20s were rescued by the Special Access Casualty Team.

Lane eight of the harbour bridge reopened at about an hour and a half later.
